At the end of the storm the sky becomes moody offering the simple beauty of the West Coast.
On the West Coast of Canada we can be hit with winter storms when the waves come crashing in.
The flower count is now on. Every year since 1976 Victoria has taken a week to count the Spring flowers blooming in the area. “The Flower Count is an annual light-hearted promotion sponsored and organized by The Butchart Gardens and Tourism Victoria.”
After days of rain and snow yesterday was one of those sparkling days. This was taken along the Gorge. “The Gorge has a rich history as an important spiritual place and food-gathering area for First Nations, and as a recreation area for early Victoria residents and visitors.” (CRD quote)

White-tailed deer come by now and then looking for food. Living close to the mountains nature is always close by.
